We are happy that you stopped by! Kassel Home began in 2013 when I began redoing furniture for friends and family. Before I knew it I was helping people with the redesign of small rooms, and eventually full houses. Since then I have enrolled in The New York Institute of Art & Design and am completing my certification in Interior Design - being as my B.A. is in english, I figured more education could only further my knowledge. What a great combo for a design blog though, right?!
I work in the realm of design in multiple facets. While I work as a Designer and Stylist, I also work with a couple different companies styling for photo shoots, staging real estate. Even when I am not designing, it is often the sense which I see the world through.
My husband and I bought our first home in May and are in the process of completely remodeling it ourselves. Most of what you will see on here are projects and DIYs that we've done to take our home from blah to fab. It's feels like we'll never get it where we want it, but that isn't stopping us!

Other things I enjoy doing are traveling, date nights, hanging out with my girlfriends, babies, dancing, running and dogs! My husband and I have {two} furry golden doodles, Simba + Charlotte.
